Lime Plastering
Not long ago, farmers from our area used to lime plaster their farm buildings every year with a lime mix. After a few years, this created a nice texture that was essentially the result of applying many thin layers on top of each other. The modern consumer likes this effect.
Modern consumers are looking for the same method as a limestone painting system but evidently have higher requirements in terms of durability. The result is different limestone methods that look like traditional lime plastering but these methods are easier to use and are as durable as most modern paint systems.
During a site visit, you will be shown various paint and lime plastering methods. The client, architect and contractor will then agree on the appropriate method to use.
